Welcome to TEDxYouthOttawa, North America’s first TEDx conference made entirely for youth, by youth.

We hope that all attendees found a special experience at TEDxYouthOttawa. To help us, and other TEDx licensees around the world, plan more effective events, please fill out this evaluation survey (10 minutes).

Adolescence is a time of turmoil, curiosity, and self-discovery, and youth today face a world of opportunities and challenges unprecedented in history. Around the world, a new generation is leading social revolutions and major innovations, and on March 4th, TEDxYouthOttawa will bring some of these young leaders together to share their insights and thoughts on our collective future.

TEDxYouthOttawa will be comprised of a mix of live talks and performances as well as pre-recorded talks from recent TED conferences. Our speakers will demonstrate youth passion, radical new thought, ingenuity, and idealism through the lens of their own experience and unique perspectives.

TEDxYouthOttawa is North America’s first TEDx conference where all presenters are youth age 25 and younger, and with a majority of attendees recruited from local high schools and community organizations. Our theme is to be “for youth, by youth”, in the spirit of our host organization For Youth By Youth (FYBY) News.
